PRE WEDDING PHOTO SHOOT AT THE ICONIC TAJ MAHAL

I got an email from Kaycee (Kristina) enquiring about my availability for a pre wedding photoshoot at the Taj Mahal. The dates she was asking (Oct) was available and I was relieved i wasn’t booked on that date because i wanted to shoot at the iconic Taj.  It would be the first time for me to shoot there since i became a Wedding Photographer

Kaycee had also requested me for a make-up artist for her. I reached out to my good friend Tito. He was free on the dates and was just as excited as me to go there. A day before the shoot we flew from Bangalore to Agra (Via Delhi). Kaycee and her fiancé Nico were reaching on the same day. They were flying down all the way from Philippines. We all met for dinner at the ITC Mughal to discuss everything about the next day. We were all set to experience the magic of the Taj.

We started early the next day so we could start the shoot just before the sunrise. We also had someone from the hotel to help us with the entry tickets and our transport from the hotel.

The early morning sunrise at the The taj is an outstanding experience, absolutely breathtaking. My heart skipped a beat when my eyes feasted on magnificence and beauty of the Taj. No words can describe how beautiful and perfect the structure is. What a joy it was to be able to appreciate its beauty while you photograph it.

We spent a few hours just going around and exploring Taj from all possible directions. If you have not been to the Taj let me tell you its huge…its flanked on its sides by 2 beautiful structures and on the back there is the Yamuna river. After we had taken all the pictures that we could we headed for a quick lunch and a change of clothes for Kaycee & Nico.

Post lunch we headed to the Mehtab garden. This garden is a little secret that most people don’t know about. Its located behind the monument (right opposite) on the northern shores of the Yamuna River in. Its a centuries old garden complex.

After this we headed to the Agra Fort. We spent the remaining time till dusk shooting marvelling at the mughal architecture there.

Now every time i look back on the time spent with the beautiful couple at the backdrop of the enchanting and awe inspiring Taj, all i say is wah Taj, you beauty!
